This quintet are Martin Bennett (Vocals & Guitar), TJ Brewer (Vocals & Bass), Stephen Hogan (Lead Guitar) with brother duo Mike Maher (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar) and David Maher (Drums).

SOUNDS LIKE:

Heirs To Nothing possess material that has a distinct Irish rawness but ‘Lover’ is without doubt an international mix of MGMT, The Killers, Alphabeat, Metro Station and something that is definitely not ‘typically Irish’.  ‘Lover’ carries electro beats that you could imagine hearing in a tent you just wandered into at Oxegen or Electric Picnic and quickly becomes one of those bands that explodes onto the scene. Expect nothing less from Heirs To Nothing.

INTERESTING FACTS:

• One of the members served in the Lebanon and Kosovo.
• Heirs To Nothing are natives of a small town called Crinkle in county Offaly.
• All members of the band attended the same school even though there is a ten year age gap.
• Martin is a keen lyricist and he is also highly influenced by poetry.
• Five years ago Martin borrowed a guitar to teach himself from scratch the very first song he ever wrote ‘where you go’.
