Stargazers Johnny Fang, Chris Ahern and Johnny Campbell are back with an uplifting jazzy number ‘We All Love The Jazz’ to rid you of those winter blues and quickly will you see the stars a-shining again. Each and every year the magical rebel county of Cork gets an extra twinkle in its eye when it comes alive with a burst of music from all over the world for the infamous Guinness Jazz Festival and this year is definitely going to be one to remember. Corkonion Contemporary acoustic legends Stargazers will make a welcome return to their roots as they have been confirmed to appear at the 2009 Cork Jazz Festival on both the 24th and 25th of October. The cork trio who have promised fans a nostalgic mix of their album classics Mercier Park, Chaser for the Blues with select tracks taken from the Fang, Ahearn album Apollonia recorded by the legendary Declan Sinnott. Their guaranteed, ‘put you in a good mood’ release ‘We All Love The Jazz’ is taken from their forthcoming compilation album, which will be let loose in the new year and it will for sure go down a treat with music loving fans all over the globe. Also fans were not disappointed with their recent show stopping once off performance at Blackrock Castle Observatory where shall we say, they took the roof off and afterwards the crowds begged for more and called for Stargazers to reform. And with that request in mind Stargazers have answered the requests of the public and their fans and are now back with a little gem of a song. Veteran Jazz lovers are familiar with the sound of the Cork rebels as far back as their first release in the 80’s. ‘We All Love The Jazz’ will lift your spirits and get you in a party mood for the world famous Jazz festival and beyond. Stargazers have enjoyed a successful international career covering Europe, Bermuda and as far away as Africa. Their live shows at the Jazz festival which are not to be missed will kick off at 9 in Blackrock Castle Observatory. So make sure to get down early and don’t miss their soothing blend of folk, rock and acoustic jazz which will capture your heart and with such amazing flowing lyrics will leave you feeling warm inside.
