Girls Night Out Launch This Saturday the 8th of August in Toast, Rathmines.

Phantom DJs Laura Lee-Conboy and Sinéad Ní Mhórdha will be exercising their djing skills and their combined eclectic tastes at a new weekly residency in Toast on Lower Rathmines Road which kicks off this Saturday 8th of August.

Sinéad Ní Mhórdha presents the music/entertainment lunch-time show 'Front Row' weekdays on Dublin's Indie Rock Phantom 105.2. Making State Magaine's 'One's To Watch in 2009' list, Sinéad drives the magazine-style show with a wide mix of entertaining topics; from album reviews to live sessions and from comedy features to music equipment reviews. She has also conducted interviews with some of the biggest names in music including Interpol, Janes Addiction, The Dandy Warhols, Supergrass, Duff McKagan (Guns ‘n’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Glasvegas, The Kills and Neon Neon. Sinéad has been a regular presenter of live broadcasts including the highly-successful outdoor Headphone Discos ‘Bumper To Bumper’ as part of the Dublin Dance Festival, as well as presenting live shows from Oxegen and Thomas Reids and has also worked as a Music Reviewer on RTE2's 'TTV' . Having started out on the DJ scene in the all-girl-dj trio 'Chicks on Decks'; and continuing on to play records in well-esteemed venues such as Whelan's to The Village and the Button Factory to The Academy, Sinéad be bringing forth her eight years of djing experience by playing a high-octane mix of indie, electro and rock 'n' roll so you can expect everything from The Ramones to Justice, Joy Division to Blur and Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Elvis.

Laura Lee-Conboy presents the dark wave/ industrial/ goth PPI nominated show 'Spiral Stares' every Thursday night at 10pm on Phantom 105.2. As well as being clued up on artists from the darker side of alternative, Laura also likes to dip into her collection of music consisting of everything from rock to indie and electronic. Having grown up with a DJ Dad, Laura has been no stranger to the decks over the years having played with some big names including former Oasis star Bonehead’. 
Best known for her interviews with alternative legends such as Gary Numan, Gerard Way and Max Cavalera and having conducted the last Ministry interview EVER, she has also delved into the indie rock scene talking to the likes of international acts The Cardigans, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Shins and Irish superstars Republic of Loose and Fight like Apes. 
When not spinning the hits Laura can be found on www.tattoo.tv (the best new tv website!) and www.state.ie (one of the greatest online Irish magazines to date) as well as being included in Art Above, which is a 3 Dimensional study of inspirational people living in Dublin today by the 3D light artist and inventor, Jon Mitton. 
Laura Lee cut her teeth djing at a very young age and has frequented clubs such as Transformer, Finisterre, Death Disco and ALT.
So you can expect recent indie cult classics from N*E*R*D and rock Gods Muse to the cheesy yet undeniable entertaining sound of Bon Jovi.
