Laura Izibor is making the transition to singing in the background of television commercials to singing for President Obama in the White House. The Meteor/Choice nominee will be joined by Brian Cowen, Padraig Harrington and boxer Katie Taylor at the White House for the traditional White House St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Izibor has proven to be a successful commodity in the US, breaking the top 30 charts already.

Now for the creepiest sentence you'll read in Music News today - according to his daughter,James Brown's body has gone missing from its crypt. It has been claimed that the Brown's body was embalmed and sealed in a temporary crypt while a public mausoleum was being built but daughter LaRhonda Pettit has lost track of where the body is currently. Brown died on Christmas Day 2006 following a heart attack.
