Radiohead back in the studio

Radiohead have hit the studio again to create LP8 after 2007’s In Rainbows. Johnny Greenwood told NME that the band returned to the studio last week with producer Nigal Godrich to work on their new album.

Greenwood  - “It’s really cool and everything is sounding great. It’s early days and it is a bit like having a scrapbook at the moment because everything is up in the air, but it’s good to be back in the studio……It’s at the stage where we’ve got the big Lego box out and we’ve tipped it out on the floor and we’re just looking at all the bits and thinking what’s next? It was very noisy and chaotic and really fun”.

No mention on when a release date might be or if they’ll continue the same “payment model” as In Rainbows but any news on a new Radiohead album is good news! Perhaps those album of the year claims should be left open a while yet.
