We have been together for what feels like forever at this stage,we learned our spellings together in primary school and formed the band in the summer of '98 after our Leaving Certs...ok stop trying to work out how old we are!We have taken a year or two off in between the time, but hey what good relationship hasnt! Spending almost 10 years together, with the same line up has been the most incredible experience. For some strange reason..travelling for hours on end, running out of petrol, dragging amps and guitars around and staying in dodgy hostels have brought us even closer together! Just a few of our highlights include... singing to 83,000 people in Croke Park, Supporting Republic of Loose & David Kitt and playing before Damien Rice and The Bangles in Vicar St, Dublin and the Saw Doctors for our first Uk dates in Manchester! We have just finished recording our debut album 'Amber Skies', which was produced and recorded in France by the well known David Odlum and will be released this summer on the 26th June '09. Our new single 'Look at me now' will be released later in the summer and will be available for download from www.thejades.ie We think you are gonna love it!:) We have been away for a while, writing and recording but we are back gigging now and we are loving it! Hope to see you all at Oxygen this summer! The Jades XXX OTHER NEWS ARTICLES
